CRN Recognizes Warner

In a recent issue of CRN, 10 VAR's were recognized for their longevity in the industry.  Ted Warner, President and CEO of Connecting Point was quoted, "Connecting Point has survived and flourished for over 25 years because we have embraced the changes in our industry and have not been afraid to change our business model. We have changed our business model three times and are really in the midst of a fourth change."

Warner Wins Bravo!

Ted Warner, founder and CEO of Connecting Point Greeley, was selected as a recipient of the Bravo! Entreprenuer Award at a celebration held at the Embassy Suites in Loveland. The 12th Annual Bravo! Awards gathering drew about 200 business leaders in support of the winners in four geographic categories: Greeley, Fort Collins, Loveland and Outlying Areas. Six individuals and a trio of chambers of commerce were honored by the Northern Colorado Business Report for their entrepreneurial contributions to the region's business community.   Click for NCBR Article reprint.

Who’s New?

Bryan Moorman

Bryan Moorman joined Connecting Point in late May 2010.  Bryan will be working on the Professional Services Team, bringing over 8 years of IT experience in the banking, engineering, utility and education industries.   His specialties are in Windows server administration, Cisco networking infrastructure, Cisco VoIP Telephony systems and VMware infrastructure.  

 

Schnizzfest 2010

Scott Warner, Connecting Point MSP Consultant, attended the TruMethods “Schnizzfest 2010” in Philadelphia, PA on July 16th and 17th.  TruMethods is an organization that was established by a successful Managed Services Provider (MSP) Owner to help other MSP’s like Connecting Point develop their sales and service delivery models.  The goal of this group, and this event, is to improve the conveyance of a simple, yet comprehensive IT support solution by leveraging our tools, people and processes.

Connecting Point hosted the Microsoft Across America Truck

Connecting Point hosted the Microsoft Across America Truck at its office in Cottonwood Square in Greeley on Thursday afternoon. This is a state of the art truck loaded with exciting new technology products from Microsoft, HP, AT&T and others that help businesses achieve and maximize their goals. A hands on, interactive environment allowed over 50 clients to experience workstations featuring Windows Vista, Microsoft Office 2007, Small Business Server 2003 and several other programs. Connecting Point is a Microsoft Gold Partner, which represents the highest level of competence and expertise with Microsoft technologies.

Connecting Point Becomes Certified PearsonVue Testing Center

Pearson VUE logoAs of November 1st, Connecting Point is an authorized Pearson VUE testing center. Pearson VUE delivers certification and licensure tests through the world’s largest network of test centers in 165 countries across the world. Pearson VUE® Authorized Test Centers (PVTC) provides on-site, on-demand testing for certification and select professional licensure exams. Connecting Point has two certified test administrators to facilitate the testing and two dedicated testing rooms. So far 42 individuals have utilized the testing center, including several Connecting Point staff.
