Bryan Moorman

Bryan Moorman joined Connecting Point in late May 2010. Bryan will be working on the Professional Services Team, bringing over 8 years of IT experience in the banking, engineering, utility and education industries. His specialties are in Windows server administration, Cisco networking infrastructure, Cisco VoIP Telephony systems and VMware infrastructure.

Bryan graduated from the University of Northern Colorado in 2004, earning his bachelor’s degree in Business Administration with a concentration in Computer Information Systems. Before attending Northern Colorado, Bryan worked at CSU’s College of Natural Resources PC Labs with a team that supported the entire college’s students and staff. After CSU, Bryan worked for Barlow Projects, Inc., moving from Help Desk to Network and Systems Administration. He recently worked for Bank of Choice, where he managed the bank’s network, phone system, network security and data centers. His previous work experience, along with being the tech support for his family, has given Bryan a diverse experience in various IT environments.

Bryan grew up in Northern Illinois until his family moved to Fort Collins, Colorado, where he attended Rocky Mountain High School. He lives in Fort Collins with his fiancée, Danielle and their two dogs and two cats. While not at work, Bryan enjoys hiking, bicycling and has recently picked up kayaking.

Shawn Hanselman

Shawn Hanselman joined Connecting Point in early February 2010. Shawn will work on the Sales Consulting Team with responsibilities for both sales and technical service. As the only engineer on the sales side of the Connecting Point team, Shawn provides a valuable link between technical requirements of clients and the procurement of product. He will be working closely with the sales and technical teams to help get the best solutions in place for our customers.

Shawn has been involved with multiple facets of IT for over 12 years as both a technician and sales person. Before joining the Connecting Point Team, he worked for a technology company in Reno, Nevada, where he filled multiple roles as a sales consultant, customer service manager and service consultant. He is A+ certified and is currently working toward a business degree at Aims Community College.

Growing up in Milliken and Greeley, Shawn moved to Houston, where he attended High School. After several years of working out of state, he returned home to Colorado to be close to family and friends. Outside of the office Shawn enjoys spending time with his wife, Shell, his 4 year old son, Miles and their English bulldog, Spike. He is a private pilot and loves to take to the skies whenever he can. Like most Coloradoans, outdoor activities are a big part of his life. Hiking, golfing, running and swimming are some activities that he and his family enjoy doing together.
