United Way Awards -
At the annual United Way awards breakfast in January, Connecting Point collected several prestigious community awards. The Centennial Circle Award is United Way’s highest honor to corporations, businesses and organizations for their outstanding leadership and commitment to United Way and the community. In order to qualify, a company must have a representative on the Campaign Committee, management contribution at the Tiller’s Club level or higher and either a 10% increase in employee giving or a be top 10 company in terms of contributions. In addition, Connecting Point was recognized as a Premiere Pacesetter company and also won the Services Division Award for leadership among businesses in similar categories. Finally, Connecting Point was honored to be nominated along with three other businesses as Company of the Year. This award acknowledges companies in Weld County for their tremendous support and partnership on many community issues and initiatives.
